Brenda Lowery

Mrs. Brenda P. Lowery, age 69, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mrs. Lowery was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs, MS, where she served as a member of the parish council for six years and secretary for four of those years. She also served as head of the bereavement committee and president of the ladies auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Council #10499 for four years. Mrs. Lowery was born in Bogalusa, LA and has been a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the past thirty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew R. Pittman and Alma B. Pittman and a brother, Richard A. Pittman. Survivors include her husband, Lonnie W. Lowery, Sr.; son, Wade Lowery; brother, Shelton Pittman; two grandsons, Andrew and Christian and two great-granddaughters, Keillie and Keira. Visitation will be Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Services will be Monday, November 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. where friends may visit one hour before service all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 4900 Reilly Road, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
