Brenda S. Denney

Mrs. Brenda S. Denney, age 45, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Thursday, January 13, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Denney was born in Tunica, MS., and was raised in Helena, Arkansas. She had been a coast resident for 18 years. She was employed with the Ocean Springs Middle School as a child nutritionist. Mrs. Denney was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mavis Collums, her brother, Bobby Glenn Collums, and a sister, Joyce Ann Collums. Mrs. Denney is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jeffery N. Denney, a daughter, Mindy Dio and husband, Brandon, a son, Christopher Denney, all of Ocean Springs, four sisters, Lexie and William Hires of W. Helena, AR., Andrea and Joey Bryant of Byhalia, MS., Theresa and Anthony Hicks of Wynne, AR., and Sue and Michael Woods of New Albany, MS., six brothers, Robert and Barbara Collums of Sheridan, AR., John and Gayle Collums of Ozark, AR., Raymond and Carolyn Collums of Lexa, AR.., Chuck and Susie Collums of Gulfport, Jack and Monica Collums of Marianna, AR., and Danny and Pam Collums of Van Buran, AR., and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 15, 2005, from 11 AM-2 PM, followed by a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
