Brenda Lynn Smith

Brenda Lynn Smith, 50, of Vancleave, MS went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 14, 2015. Brenda was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. She currently worked at Ocean Springs Marine Mart and has worked with Kenny Dinero for 31 years, where she has extended family and friends whom she loved with all her heart. Brenda loved fishing, hunting, crabbing, entering fishing rodeos, but mostly hunting with her family at Jamison Camp. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Jamison; her grandparents, Lillie and Arvis Jamison, Terry Latch and Florence Basham. Brenda’s survivors include her husband of 33 years, Buddy Smith; her daughters, Bridgette Lynnette Ridgdell (Shane) and Candace Dee Smith; her mother, Brenda Jamison; her two grandsons who were the love of her heart, Patrick Duncan Guthrie, Jr. and Robert William Guthrie; her sisters, Donna “Nett” (Travis) Goodyear and Debbie (Gussie) Lamey; her brothers, Terry “Bubba” (Jennifer) Jamison and Rickey (Jennifer) Latch; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and many, many friends. Funeral Services will be held at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Vancleave #1 Cemetery.
