Bret Wilson Brewer

Bret Wilson Brewer, 59, almost 60, of Latimer, MS passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 in Latimer.

Mr. Brewer was a native of Illinois, born on August 14, 1962 to Mary Sue Crowder and Thomas Brewer. He was raised in Mississippi, graduated from St. Martin High School and received a scholarship to college for baseball. Mr. Brewer served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a wonderful history teller and the best chef on the coast. He was a great father and grandfather. Mr. Brewer enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, cooking and telling stories. His favorite pastimes were taking his children and grandchildren on adventures, fishing and anything outdoors. He loved people and animals.

He was preceded in death his wife, Gail Delancy Brewer.

Mr. Brewer’s survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mary Sue Crowder Lepoma and Tony Lepoma; his ex-wife, Tina Taconi Brewer; his children, Brittany Brewer and Brettina Brewer Bartholomew; his stepdaughter, Tiffany Delancy; his grandchildren, Elanna Treese, R.J. Bartholomew, Marly Bartholomew, Julius Bartholomew and Libi Akins; his siblings, Randy Brewer, David Brewer, Micheal Brewer, Antranece Brewer and Susan Perkins; and his pets, Cricket Brewer, Beau and Jo-Jo Treese Brewer.

Private services will be held.
