Brittani Marie Russ

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our Brittani Marie Russ. Brittani passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2022. A beautiful young lady, with a heart of gold, she will be missed by all of those who knew her.

Brittani Marie was born on April 13, 1992, to parents, Sharon Thompson and Bobby Russ in Anchorage, Alaska. She attended elementary school in Anchorage, completing middle and high school in Biloxi. Shortly after graduating from Biloxi High School, Brittani joined the Navy. Brittani loved traveling around the world and experiencing different cultures. After separating from the military, Brittani pursued a college degree while working as an informational technology specialist for various firms.

Brittani’s greatest blessing was her two children Courtney and Arianna. She adored her son and daughter and loved them with her whole heart. Brittani created a lifetime of memories that will live on in those who love her.

Brittani Marie Russ loved to entertain, congregate, and celebrate. She marched to the beat to her own drum. Her free spirit was always up for an adventure. Brittani will be remembered for her zest for life, generosity, and wicked sense of humor.

Brittani was preceded in death by her aunt, Tina Peterson. Brittani is survived by parents, Sharon (Melvin) Thompson and Bobby Russ; siblings, S. Ashley Russ, Kenneth Russ, and Nigel Thompson; grandparents, John (Willie) Evans and Idell Russ. Brittani also has a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and a multitude of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. Friends may visit one hour prior. A gathering for repast will be held in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the service.
