Bruce Baxter Entrekin

Mr. Bruce Baxter Entrekin, age 52, of Moss Point, MS., died on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, in Moss Point. Bruce was born on March 26, 1958, was a lifelong resident of the community, and was employed by Gencos. He served in the US Navy and was well known for his talent in singing, writing music and playing the guitar. He made many cd's and played music with other musicians all across the Mississippi coast. Bruce was well loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Woodrow Entrekin. Survivors include his parents, Calvin Woodrow Entrekin and Pauline Louise Entrekin of St. Martin, sisters, Barbara Glynn Stanley and Cheryl Ann Wheeler, both of Vancleave, MS., brothers, Franklin Dudley Entrekin and Carlos Nile Entrekin, both of Ocean Springs, MS., daughter, Linda Marie Entrekin of Georgia, son Patrick of Gulfport, MS., two grandsons, Denver and Bryce, and the love of his life, Leisa Rouse. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 12, 2010, from 6 pm until 9 pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, September 13, 2010, there will be a 1 pm chapel service in the funeral home where friends may call from 12 noon until 1 pm. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
