Callie Carr Doucette, age 93, of Vancleave, MS., passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Ms. Callie was born on February 1, 1912. She was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Coast. She was a past active member of Graceland Baptist Church in Vancleave and a past member of the Eastern Star. Her love for people and animals led to her dedication to her farm and her animals for many years. She was well known in the neighborhood for her love of animals and her ability to help cure anyone's sick pet or animal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Doucette, father, Tom Landrum, mother, Lula Carney Landrum, son, Lamar Carr, brother, Buck Landrum and two sisters, Ella Upshaw and Annie Barber. She is survived by her brother, Ben Landrum of Laurel, MS., numerous nieces, other relatives, and many dear and loving friends. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 11, 2005, from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM, with a 1:30 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
