Carl D. Bunch

NCI Carl D. Bunch, (U.S. Navy Retired), 71, of Saucier, died Monday, June 1, 2009 in Gulfport. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and had been a resident of Saucier for about 26 years. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1981 after over 27 years of military service and also retired from Veterans Administration on the Coast where he was an electrician. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Page Bunch of Saucier; three daughters, Mary Denise Bunch of Biloxi; Carla Bunch-Clark (Marcus) and Betty Ladner (Glenn) all of Saucier; two sons, Kevin Bunch (Debby) of Archibald, LA, and Carl Bunch, Jr. (Tim) of Gulfport; and nine grandchildren, Chelsey, Christopher, Rashad, Amber, Bobby, Domonique, Deysha, Jacob and Jayla. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Saucier Cemetery with full military honors by the U.S. Navy. The family prefers contributions to their account at any Hancock Bank.
