Carl David "Davey" Meyer

Mr. Carl David (Davey) Meyer, age 51, of Ocean Springs, MS, left us on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at home. Davey was born on December 24, 1961, in Nashville, TN. He was kind hearted, loyal, had quite a sense of humor and was a character. Davey was an excellent carpenter, mechanic and had many creative talents throughout his lifetime, playing the organ and trumpet in his younger years. Davey said to tell everyone how much he would miss us when he was gone. We will miss you very much, our brother. Always, your family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Meyer, father, William (Bill) Meyer and grandmother, Pauline Stacey. Survivors include a sister, Belinda Marcum, two brothers, William (Bill) Meyer Jr, and Joseph (Joe) Meyer, four nieces, four nephews and girlfriend, Renee. On Sunday, October 20, a Memorial Gathering will be held from 1pm until 3pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe.
