Mr. Carl E. King, Jr., 56, of D'Iberville, MS, died Thursday, January 4, 2007, in D'Iberville.
Mr. King was born in Indinapolis, Indiana and had been a longtime resident of the coast. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and worked as a supervisor in the food and beverage industry.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, Carl E. King, Sr., and Dorothy Miller King; sisters, Phyllis Phillips and Brenda "Susie" Bodie, and a son, Christopher E. King. Survivors include his wife, Karren Battaya King of D'Iberville; daughter, Terri King of Oklahma City, OK; step daughter, Brenda Chatagnier; brother, Tom Wall of Biloxi; sisters, Jo Ann Marion, Frances Day, Betty McCammon and Helen Rich all of Indiana, and two step granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Securtiy Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Private services will be held at a later date. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
