Mr. Carl Fred Wilson, age 90, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, November 17, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Wilson was a native of Monticello, MS., and a coast resident since 1968. He was a retired M/Sgt in the US Air Force, a decorated veteran of WWII serving as a Bombardnier on a B-17 crew. He was a Mason, a member of the Shriners, VFW and the Scottish Society. Mr. Wilson was also a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Wilson. Survivors include two sons, Timothy (Melissa) Wilson and Christopher Wilson, two grandchildren, Wendy (Ronald) McKee and Tony (Michelle) Wilson, four great-grandchildren, Kodi Cuevas, Julianna Wilson, Madison McKee, and Ethan McKee, and his friend and caregiver, Mary Helon Hill. On Friday, November 20, 2009, there will be an 11 AM church service at Christus Victor Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors. The family would like to thank Saads Healthcare for all of their care and assistance. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
