Carlotta Curtis

Carlotta Casternia Curtis, 82, of Biloxi died Monday, June 25, 2007 in Biloxi. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School Class of 1932, and after travel with her Air Force veteran husband returned to Biloxi where she had resided for 57 years. Mrs. Curtis raised and showed dogs for many years producing numerous champions. She was known as a great lover and protector of animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Casternia and Celia Page Casternia; husband, Jim Curtis, and a son Bobby Curtis. She is survived by sons, Dick Curtis and wife Cynthia, Jim Curtis and wife Rickie, Henry Curtis, Charles Curtis and wife Alice, and daughter Ida Curtis, three granddaughters, three grandsons and five great grand children. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to: the Harrison County Humane Society, 13756 Washington Ave., Gulfport, MS 39507. Visitation is Friday, June 29, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Service will be on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Both will be at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
