Carmen Josefina Lopez-Reyna

Carmen Josefina “Mami” Lopez-Reyna, 58 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on August 13, 2023.

She was born on November 18, 1965 in the city of Concepcion in Paraguay. She attended college at Maria Auxiliadora University in Paraguay and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Carmen loved cooking and dancing, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with family and friends. Carmen was such sweet soul who made friends anywhere she went.

Carmen was preceded in death by her mother, Josefina Britez; sisters, Francisca Britez and Madalena Britez; spouse, Victor Lopez-Reyna; grandchild, Lisette Rosario; and son, Robert Lopez- Reyna.

She is survived by her father, Alipio Garcete Britez; siblings, Nilda Britez, Nene Britez, Ernesto Britez, Sebastian Garcete, and Ramon Britez; children, Liz Marelene Britez, Zoela Lopez Reyna Saunders, Jennifer Williams, Michelle Contreras, and Ernesto Sebastian Britez; grandchildren, Ilyonah Saunders, Sarina Saunders, Zoe Saunders, Daylon Lopez Reyna, Alexis Rosario, Abel Jr Rosario, Tatianna Davis, and Azriel Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior.
