Carol Lee Pitalo

Mrs. Carol Lee Pitalo, 73, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Pitalo, who was born in Biloxi, was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Slavonian Lodge Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Pitalo was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Irma Lee Anderson. Survivors include her husband, Matthew Pitalo of Ocean Springs; daughter, Deborah Snyder and her husband, Dale, of Ocean Springs; son, Matthew J. Pitalo and his wife, Karen, of Metairie, LA; sisters, Betty Hilton of Biloxi and Susan Anderson of Ocean Springs; brothers, Colin "Buddy" DeSilvey of Biloxi and David DeSilvey of Lafitte, LA; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at 1 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial'Honor Program FH, One St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN 38148-0552.
