Caroline Jones

Caroline Jones (69) originally from Bristol, VA and resident of Saucier, MS received her angel wings on January 21st, 2019 while recovering from a long battle with lung cancer and a recent lung surgery. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Brinkley; two daughters Cynthia Casey of Gulfport, MS and Robin (Steve) Brown of Moore, OK; three grand children, Forrest Casey, Megan Brown, & Caleb Brown; siblings, Robert Blaylock, Clifford Blaylock, Phyllis Hood, Ronnie Blaylock, Wanda Gilliam, and Vicky Goodman; many other family members and close friends. Caroline was a kind hearted lady who fell in love with the coast and decided to retire here about 22 years ago. She and Don have enjoyed the coastal life and have made numerous friends. She enjoyed a good card game but her pride and joy was her Shihtzu, named Kyle. She was an avid football fan and would often be found cheering for the Saints, Cowboys, and the MSU Bulldogs. The family has decided to waive a funeral service as per her wishes but will receive friends at their home in Saucier on 1/23 from 2-6pm at 21609 Gartman Jones Road, Saucier, MS. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown these past few weeks and a special thanks to the staff at Pascagoula Singing River Hospital for their compassion and care!
