Caroline Morgan Larson

Caroline Morgan Larson, age 86, went to be with her heavenly Father and family on May 10, 2010. Born at Fort Eustis, Virginia on September 18, 1923, she was the fourth and last child of Chief Master Sergeant Clarence Gordon Culver (U.S. Army, Retired) and Dorothea Morgan Culver. In 1937, at Luke Field, Hawaii, she met Warrant Officer Milo George Larson (U.S. Army Air Corps). They were married on August 1, 1941. She was a devoted and loving Air Force wife, mother and grandmother. Through seven years of suffering, she fought heart disease and COPD with strength and resolve. When she passed, she rested comfortably in her own bed, with her two children by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. M. G. Larson (U.S. Air Force, retired); her parents; two sisters, Hermine Charlotte Drews, Fort Bragg, N.C., and Mary Elise Sweeney, Fayetteville, N.C., and a brother, Chief Master Sergeant Clarence Gordon Culver, Jr. (U.S. Air Force, retired), Gessup, GA. She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Deline Larson Hokkanen of Madisonville, LA., a son, Gordon Eric Larson of Biloxi, MS, and his fiancée, Marina Diaz Morgan; four grandchildren, Eric M. Hokkanen, of Madisonville, LA.; Gregory M. Hokkanen (Chassidy F.) Hokkanen, Luling, LA., Erica Davidson and Maria Couch of Biloxi, MS.; four great grandchildren: Paige M. Hokkanen, Jenna N. Templet, Jacob R. Hokkanen, and James M. Hokkanen. Following a private ceremony, she was interred at the Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of donations the family requests that prayers be offered for those brave men and women serving in the United States armed forces, and especially those souls who gave their lives in defense of the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Through the suffering of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we have faith that our mother is now at rest, in the arms of an infinite and loving God. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road was in charge of arrangements.
