Carolyn E. Childers

Ms. Carolyn E. Childers, 55, of Vancleave, MS, died Saturday, January 12, 2008, in Vancleave. Ms. Childers was a lifelong resident of the coast. She was of the Pentacostal faith and a loving, happy and caring mother, daughter, sister, friend and Pink Maw Maw. Ms. Childers was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Hattie Childers, and brothers, Bobby and Travis Childers. Survivors include her daughter, Amy Wagner and her husband, Brian, of Ocean Springs; sons, Clyde Randy Harrison and his wife, Nita, of Vancleave, and Mack Edwin Harrison and his wife, Michelle, of Memphis, TN; three sisters, Lois Kates and Wanda Childers of Ocean Springs and Margaret Lee of Vancleave; step-sister, Rita Childers of Ocean Springs; a brother Billy Childers of Saucier; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, January 14, 2008, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi. Funeral services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
