Carolyn Olivia Melton Neblett

Carolyn Olivia Melton Neblett, age 68, of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away on March 10th 2023.

Carolyn was born in Jackson, Mississippi and resided in Gulfport, Mississippi most of her life. As a dual citizen, she often traveled between the United States and England. She received an associate's degree in hospitality from Southern Miss and held many titles through the course of her career. She met great friends, colleagues, and created a broad network of lifelong relationships along the way. She eventually retired as a manager in the hospitality industry. She enjoyed traveling abroad with her late husband John Alan "Bear" Neblett. She adored spending time with family, friends, and her beloved pets.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Alan Neblett; and her parents, Mr. Jack D. Melton and Mrs. Hazel Hamilton.

She is survived by her son, Russell Shane Warden; sister, Melanie Melton; niece, Sydney Hamilton Ros; grandchildren, Lane Hamilton Guthrie and Sasha Elizabeth Vaughan Guthrie (George Thomas Bordeaux III); favorite cousin, Karen Crawford; and three loving best friends, Linda Sattler, Suzanne Bonneau and Beth Carriere. She leaves behind her love and memories. She will be greatly missed by all.
