Carolyn Payne

Carolyn Payne, age 61, of Gulfport, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, in Gulfport. Mrs. Payne was a lifetime resident of Gulfport and a graduate of Harrison Central High School and attended The University of Southern Mississippi. She was a member of Bel-Air Baptist Church and also of the Krewe of Gemini. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ernie Payne of Gulfport; two daughters, Joy (Robert) Morris of Gulfport; Angie Payne of Gulfport; a brother, Carl (Thirrey) Adams of Gulfport; and two granddaughters, Emerson Morris and Alden Morris, of Gulfport The family expresses special appreciation to these physicians and staffs, Dr. Davidson, Dr. Wall, Dr. Dawkins, Dr. P. Matherne, Kim Necaise, RN, and her special friends Paula Foreman and Sue Hatem. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service.
