Carolyn Elizabeth Penny

Carolyn Elizabeth Penny, 80, of Gulfport, MS, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Gulfport. Mrs. Penny was a resident of Gulfport since 1968. She was a homemaker and a great mother. Mrs. Penny was of the Lutheran Faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley James Penny; and her sister, Janet. Mrs. Penny’s survivors include her daughter, Karen Jean Penny; her sons, Michael James (Alexandra) Penny, Shawn Scott (Victoria) Penny and Steven Mitchell Penny; her brothers, Raymond Taylor and Larry Taylor; and her grandchildren, Christopher Penny, Colby Penny and Brailey Penny. Mrs. Penny’s family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Memorial Hospital at Gulfport for their caregiving. Funeral Services will be held at the 15th Street Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until service time.
