Carolyn Ray Robinson

Carolyn Ray Quave Robinson, age 79, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 surrounded by family. Carolyn was born November 4, 1937 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Raymond L. Quave and Valena Seymour Quave. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1955. She retired in Civil Service from Keesler Air Force Base. One of Carolyn's favorite things to do was crossword puzzles with her great-grandchildren. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond L. Quave and Valena Seymour Quave; her son, Kendall Robinson; her siblings, Alice Baum, Douglas Quave, John D. Quave, Irma Richards, and Gloria Bullock. Carolyn's survivors include her daughter, Andrea (Charles) Rushing; her son, William Robinson; her grandchildren, Joshua (Rachael) Ward and James (Meghan) Ward; her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ward, Abigail Ward, Isabella Ward, Lyric Ward, and Sadie Belle Ward; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Richard Smith, Dr. Christopher Shelby, the staff of Merit Health Biloxi, and Southern Care Hospice for all of their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a 12:00 p.m. service. Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
