Mrs. Carrie Louise Gautier Perry, age 88, of the Fontainebleau Community in Ocean Springs, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, in Gautier, MS. Mrs. Perry was a lifelong resident of the coast and member of Belle Fountain Baptist Church where she was the secretary and treasurer for many years. She was formerly employed at the Woolen Mill in Moss Point, worked at Keesler Air Force Base and for the Navy at Ingalls Shipbuilding. She also worked at the Davis Grocery and Service Station in the Fontainebleau Community. Louise, as her family called her, was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth Walter Perry, two brothers, Philip Lowell, Jr and Frank Roy Davis, her parents, Philip Lowell Sr. and Carrie Louise (Richter) Davis, and a granddaughter, Catherine Celeste Gautier. Survivors inlcude two siblings, Tillie Elise Roberts and Charles "Duke" Duane Davis, six children, Ivan Peter (Susan) Gautier II, Martha Nell (Dustan) Miller, Elise Louise Everett, Philip Austin Perry, Celeste Maureen (Mike) Devine, and Charles Walter (Kimberly) Perry, sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 28, 2009, from 12 Noon - 2 PM with a 2 PM church service, all at Belle Fountain Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to Southern Care Hospice, 12100 Hwy 49 North, Building 708, Gulfport, MS. 39503. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
