Carrie Parker Hawkins

Ms. Carrie Parker Hawkins, 85, of Biloxi, died Sunday, February 8, 2009 in Ocean Springs. Ms. Hawkins was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. She was of the Methodist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester R. Hawkins; her parents, William and Mary Alice Parker; two brothers, Thomas and Edward Parker, and two sisters, Norwin Feranda and Thelma Holloway. She is survived by her sister, Rose Lois (Verlin) Garlotte, her brother, Harold Bruce (Bertha) Parker, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'keefe Funeral Home where friends may visit one hour prior to the funeral service.
