Casey Wayne Wells

Casey Wayne Wells, age 62, a native of Moss Point, Mississippi and a resident of Biloxi, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Mr. Wells was born November, 25, 1952 in Moss Point, Mississippi, and had a saving faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. He graduated from Moss Point High School and attended Mississippi College and Florida State University where he worked for many years as a warehouseman at the campus bookstore, became very well read and enjoyed many friendships with the students. He touched many lives through his quick smile, unique sense of humor and love for cooking and eating. The family would like to thank the residents and staff of Seashore Oaks for making his last years enjoyable and especially Mr. Calvin Sanchez who became his very best friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Zeno Mitchell Wells and Thelma Steward Wells. He is survived by his sisters, Thelma Patricia Herring (Robert M.) of Hoschton, Georgia and Sandra Mitchell Bolton (Gerald) of Mobile, Alabama; two brothers, Zeno Randall Wells (Libby) of Gulfport, Mississippi and David Jerome Wells (Valarie) of Blairsville, Georgia; Seven nephews, Guy Weldon Herring (Carrie) of Winder, Georgia, Ryan Michael Herring (Allie) of Fairfield, Connecticut, Jonathan Eric Wells (Angela) of Atlanta, Georgia, Dannon Patrick Wells (Kyndel) of Lake City, Colorado, Kevin Dante’ Harasz of Ventura, California, Warren Bradley Harasz (Sarah) of Berkley, California, David Zeno Wells of Blairsville, Georgia; three nieces, Kelley Michelle Bolton of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ashley Daye King (Zach) of Cypress, Texas, Eula Kay Wells of Blairsville, Georgia; and many other great nephews and nieces. A private service of remembrance will be held with the family.
