Catherine Davis Lippe

Mrs. Catherine Davis Lippe, 80, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Lippe was a resident of the community for 37 years. She was a hair-dresser for many years on the coast and owner of Mark I Beauty Bazaar in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Les Lippe; a son, Chuck Davis; a sister, Martha Varnell; a brother, Graves Varnell and her parents, Clarence and Mamie Varnell. Survivors include two sons, Mike Davis and wife, Lori, of Oregon and Joey Davis and wife, Linda G., of Gulfport, great-nephew, Sean Varnell of Ocean Springs, MS., two stepsons, Mark Lippe and wife, T-Bird, of Wade, MS., and Steve Lippe and wife, Debbie, of Naples, FL., a stepdaughter, Debra Hewett and husband, Ken, of Mobile, AL., seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
