Catherine Esther Simon Willse

Mrs. Catherine Esther Simon Willse, age 77, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, November 26, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Willse was a native of Philadelphia, PA. She attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs, was a member of the Gulf Coast Ladies Golf Association, and a member of the Ladies Elks #2501 in Ocean Springs. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, John "Jack" Willse, two daughters, Catherine (Michael) Willse and Christine Willse, four sons, John (Cheryl) Willse III, George (Brigitte) Willse, Robert Willse, and Steven (Rebecca) Willse, a sister, Matilda Seybold, two brothers, George Simon and Harry Simon, eleven grandchildren, Kathleen, Jacob, John IV, Mary Catherine, Jackie, Travis, Tyler, Robert Jr., Tony, Steven, and Patrick, and three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Abby and Alyce. Visitation will be on Monday, November 29, 2010, from 5 pm until 8 pm, with a 6:30 pm Rosary, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Tuesday, November 30, 2010, there will be a 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, where friends may visit from 11 am until 12 noon. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Scholarship Fund, % Elks Lodge, 2501 Beachview Blvd., Ocean Springs, MS. 39501.
