Catherine Ann Flynn

Ms. Catherine Ann Flynn, age 65, died Monday December 28, 2020 at home peacefully surrounded by family after a joyous life. She was a woman of faith who spent many years attending Heritage United Methodist Church of D’Iberville and Coast Community Church of Woolmarket. She enjoyed Mardi Gras and was delighted to serve as Queen in the 2019 Greenbriar Mardi Gras Ball. Cathy spent the last 7 years at Greenbriar Nursing home. The family is eternally grateful for the wonderful care she received. They were always willing to allow Daniel and Granny plenty of time and space for nerf gun battles, piano sing-alongs, and puzzles and games galore. Ms. Flynn is preceded in death by parents, Joan & Jesse Parker and stepmother Jean Parker. She is survived by her sister Debbie Parker & Walter Mansfield; two daughters Jessica & Charles Minshull and Michelle & Ryan Brashear; and two loving grandsons, Daniel Brashear and Max Minshull. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to local food banks. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport, is honored to serve the Flynn family.
