Catherine Alexander Trahan, 88, of Biloxi, MS died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in Biloxi.
Mrs. Trahan was a native of Alexandria, LA and a resident of the Coast since 1933. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and a member of St. Michael’s School PTO, Sacred Heart and Notre Dame High School PTO. Mrs. Trahan was also an avid sports fan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Leona Alexander; her husband, Maurice “Morris” Trahan; her brothers, John D. Alexander and Laurence Montgomery; and her sister Marjorie Byrd.
Survivors include her daughters, Margie Ann Diez and Marsha (Rusty) Rosetti; her sons, Garey Trahan and Thomas A. Trahan; her sister, Annie Laurie Curry; her brother, James Alexander, MD; her grandchildren, Jeff (Alice) Diez, Chip (Pam) Diez, Kerry (Suzette) Diez, Renee (Marty) Martin, Rachele (Steve) Wilkison, Chris (Robin) Diez, Jason Rosetti, Matthew Rosetti, Jennifer (Chris) Wiley, Ashley Trahan and Jeremy (Allie) Trahan; and twenty great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until Mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
