Cecile Maize Ransonet

Cecile Maize Ransonet, 92, of Biloxi, MS went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Mrs. Ransonet was born in Youngsville, LA and moved to Biloxi at the age of 6 with her parents where she remained a lifelong resident. She retired from Keesler AFB, Biloxi in 1977. Mrs. Ransonet was a member of Golden Age, Jolly Traveler's, Fleur de Lis Ladies Auxillary, Harrison County East Biloxi Senior Citizens Club and St. Michael Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society. Mrs. Ransonet was a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and Aunt "Pete" to numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her former husband, Eric Paul Ransonet; son, Robert "Bobby" Thomas Ransonet; parents, Polite and Blanche Romero Maynard; brother, Maurice Maynard (Rita); sisters, Regina Tomplait (Joe), Eunice Tisdale (Johnny), Inez Maynard, Nola Ransonet, Ella Langlinais (Sang); grandchildren, Keith Ransonet Broussard and Darlene Girouard; great-grandson, Joshua Premeaux. Mrs. Ransonet is survived by her daughters, Patsy Lechner and her husband, Gary, Sr., Penny Morris and companion, Don Parker; son, Rocky Ransonet and his wife, Stephenie; grandchildren, Trisha Gutierrez, Gary Lechner, Jr., Kelly McCarthy-Ratcliffe, Lance Ransonet, Shawn Kuhn, Rocquel Hays, Tyson Ransonet; great-grandchildren, Christina, Marissa, Raven, Dylan, Leila, Alex, Zak, Kenneth, Shelby Cecile and Marina; five great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to take this opportunity to especially thank the entire staff of River Chase Village Nursing Home for their special loving care of our Mom (CeCe) during her final years with us. Thanks, Joyce. Also thanks to the doctors and nurses of Ocean Springs Hospital. Pallbears will be: Lance Ransonet, Tyson Ransonet, Gary Lechner, Jr., Kenny Kuhn, Michael Chatham, Dan Schroeder, Pete Bosarge. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until mass time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
