Cecile Marie Tauzin

Mrs. Cecile Marie Tauzin, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, July 30, 2005. She was 86 years old. Mrs. Tauzin was born August 29, 1918 in Franklin, Louisiana. She attended school in Biloxi and was a lifelong member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. She and her husband, Murphy A. Tauzin, were the owners of Tauzin's Corner Grocery for many years. Cecile was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy A. Tauzin; her sons, Francis Tauzin and Joseph Tauzin; her daughters, Louise Davis, Marion Tauzin and Marianne Thornton; her parents, Louise and Bernard Hebert; Brothers, Vallex, Bernard "Bennie", Lovelace, Ivy and Elton and her sisters, Leola Bosarge, Enola Boussard, Ouida Duval, Theresa Skinner and Marie Pons. She is survived by her sons, Eugene Tauzin, Dennis Tauzin and his wife, Judy; Michael Tauzin and Robert Tauzin; her daughters, Grace Caldwell and her husband, George, Patricia Ann Fairley and her husband, Jim; twentyone grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at 2 p.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Biloxi where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
