Celeste Allen Tillman

Mrs. Celeste Lynne Allen Tillman, age 80, of Vancleave, MS, died Monday, May 15, 2017, in Biloxi, MS. Mrs. Tillman was born on December 23, 1936, in Vancleave to Coy and Celeste Bonham Allen. She worked for several dentists in Gautier for many years and was the official scorekeeper for Dixie baseball in Vancleave. She was also a lifelong member of Vancleave United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Myron Tillman, son, Bonham Tillman, parents, Coy and Celeste Allen and sisters, Coy Ann Mallett and Malva Lou Allen. Survivors include two sons, Bret and Bart Tillman of Vancleave, sister, Fay Allen, three grandchildren, Bonham Tillman, Allen Tillman and Chrissie (Gabe) Jobe, daughter-in-law, Pam Tillman, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 20, from 9am until 11am, with an 11am church service, all at Vancleave United Methodist Church. Reverend Mary Stewart will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in Vancleave #1 Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
