Mr. Charles Brian Rosonet, Sr., 77, of Gulfport, MS, died Monday, March 6, 2006, in Gulfport following a brief illness.
A native of Biloxi, he retired from the U. S. Navy after over 23 years of service spanning WW II, Korea and Vietnam. He later retired with 20 years of service from Bell South where he worked as an installer/ repairman and later as a supply clerk. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Biloxi.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Dallas Rosonet, Sr. and Anna Viator Rosonet; his brothers, Arthur D. Rosonet, Jr., Joe LeBlanc and his sisters, Rena Rosalis, Inez Putnam and Gladys Lockwood.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Georgia Gary Rosonet, of Gulfport; sons, Ricardo A. Rosonet, Sr. and his wife, Nancy, of Ocean Springs, C. B. "Chuck" Rosonet, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Woolmarket, and Gary M. Rosonet and his wife, Twila, of Woolmarket; his daughter, Vicki O'Bannon and her husband, Richard, of Vicksburg; fifteen grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and his sister-in-law, Charleen Redding Cole, of Biloxi.
Visitation is Thursday, March 9, 2006, from 5 till 7 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
