Charles Wood “Charlie” Randall, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 22, 2016. A longtime resident of Ocean Springs, MS, he had relocated to Shalimar, FL in October 2015 to be closer to family. Charlie was born on May 22, 1938 in Columbia MS; he was a 1956 graduate of Pascagoula High School, employed for many years at Ingalls Shipyard, eventually becoming the owner of Charles Randall Painting and Drywall where he worked until he retired in 2008.
Mr. Randall was preceded in death by his wife of over 46 years, Jane Douglas Randall; his parents, Woodrow and Trody Randall; his three brothers, James Edwin, John Scott and Joseph. He leaves behind three loving children, Janet Leigh Randall, Charles Wood Randall Jr. and Jenny Kaye Pappas; grandchildren, Kyle Randall McAllister, Christopher Douglas Pappas and Heather Kasandra Pappas; siblings, Nelda Craig, Kenneth Randall, Patricia Long and David Randall; many cousins, nieces and nephews along with his loving dogs Riley and Levi.
Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 am followed by a graveside prayer at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS. Family will receive visitors prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. Pallbearers will be Charles Randall, Jr., Christopher Pappas, Tony Misch, Christian English, Michael Deutsch and Joseph Deutsch, along with Honorary Pallbearer, Heather Pappas.
