Charles "Chuck" J. Amie

Charles “Chuck” J. Amie, 87, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 in Mobile, AL.  He was a long-time resident of Biloxi, MS.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Barbara Sue Amie; his father, Joseph Amie; mother, Zula Amie; sister, Vernelle Snyder; and granddaughter, Gabrielle Fleming.

Left to remember and cherish him are his daughters, Charlotte Abbenante (Tony) of Raleigh, NC, Gena Amie of Mobile, AL, Denise Fleming (Stan) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Donna Wilson (Terry) of Newton, NC; his sisters, Evelyn Royer and Janette Romero; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Chuck was a graduate of Southern Mississippi and spent most of his career in the Air Force, retiring after 21 years as a Master Sargent. Later, he went on to retire again from Litton Data systems.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
