Charles Martin “Chuck” Werneth, III, 57, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Ocean Springs.
Chuck had a distinguished and honorable career in the U.S. Army, where he served his country proudly for a total of thirteen years. He was a manager of structural design in engineering for nearly twenty-four years at Ingalls Shipbuilding, where he was respected and loved by his colleagues. Chuck was a loyal and trusted friend and he was always willing to help those in need, even if he had nothing but time to offer. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends, preferably while fishing. Chuck could always be found near or on the water with his fishing pole in hand. He was a devoted and loving husband and father.
Mr. Werneth is preceded in death by his father, Charles Martin Werneth, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Patti Fain Werneth; his son, Charles M. “Charlie” Werneth, IV; his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Robert Wilcox; his grandchildren, Chase and Kody Wilcox; his sister, Debbie Werneth Robertson; and his mother, Martha Yvonne Werneth.

Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
