Charles "Chuck" M. Wright

Charles “Chuck” M. Wright, age 67, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Mr. Charles Wright was a longtime resident of Gulfport, Ms. He graduated from Gulfport East High School in 1974. He served 30 years in the Mississippi Army National Guard and deployed to serve three tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Wright was proceeded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Wright and brother, George Wright Jr. (Paula).  

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jo Ann Wright; 2 children, Joseph Wright (Cristine) and Jena Brown (Richard); 8 grandchildren, Cadence Wright, Langdon Wright, Easton Brown, Paisleigh Brown, Kolbie Wright, Daniel Wright, Magnolia Brown, and Lincoln Wright; brother, Sky Wright (Lynn);  nephew, Mark Wright (Stephanie); niece, Michelle Clifford (Tom); a great-nephew; many great-nieces; and fur baby, Marley.

The family would like to extend a special gratitude and appreciation to Memorial Hospital ICU nurses and doctors for their care of Charles Wright. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a service on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. all at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to Friday’s service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Wright family.
