Retired Msgt. Charles D. Bilbo, 68, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Bilbo was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1938 and was a longtime resident of Biloxi. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served his country in the United States Air Force for over twenty years. He also worked for the Civil Service at Keesler Air Force Base, 1839th EIG. Mr. Bilbo was a longtime member of the Brodie Road Baptist Church in D'Iberville, MS. Mr. Bilbo was preceded in death by his father, Cary B. Bilbo II; his mother, Inez Bilbo; two aunts, Estelle Moody and Mildred Clautier; an uncle, Ralph Moody; and a nephew, Theodore Gilmore Bilbo III. Mr. Bilbo is survived by his wife, Diane Bilbo; a daughter, Judy Bilbo; a son, David Bilbo and his wife Michelle; and a grandson, Joshua Bilbo all of Biloxi; he is also survived by three brothers, Cary Bilbo Jr., Theodore G. Bilbo II, and Larry E. Bilbo all of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Brenda Fountain of Biloxi and Dorothy Bailey of Bogalusa, AL; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday, March 19, 2007 at 11:30am at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes; friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery with full Military Honors. The family prefers memorials to Brodie Road Baptist Church-Katrina Building Fund, PO Box 6006, D'Iberville, MS 39540.
