Charles Dana King

Mr. Charles Dana King, age 53, of Gulfport, MS., went home to be with his Lord Jesus , on Wednesday May 3, 2006. Charlie was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Susan Ann Broussard, his wife of nearly 32 years, in 1974. He and Susan had three children, Charles Edward, Suzanne Denise, and Sheree Elaine. Charlie was adamant about his love for his family and his God. He taught his children to fear the Lord by showing them the love and grace Jesus has for them. Charlie loved his grandchildren dearly and they inspired him to write a children's book. His grandchildren were Noah Lynch, Sophie Lynch, Emma King, and Noel King. There are no words adequate to sum up the life of a man who edified all who knew him. He left us with this final declaration, "Jesus is Lord!" "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy." Psalms 33:3.
