It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Duane Davis, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Duane peacefully passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 67, surrounded by his family in Ocean Springs.
He was born on February 5, 1957 in Biloxi, MS. He spent his life as a loving and dedicated family man, whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. As a husband, father, and grandfather, Duane always put his family first. His unwavering support, gentle nature, and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Duane worked for many years as a Heavy Maintenance Specialist, where his expertise and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues throughout the world. Duane formed long-lasting relationships with many of his coworkers and considered them family. Outside of work, Duane found joy in the simple things whether it was piddling in his shop, working on projects, or spending time outdoors. Many cherished memories were made on afternoons spent in his workshop and hanging out with his best (dog) friend, Big Sam.
He was preceded in death by his son, Allen Davis; and parents, Duke and Beryl Davis.
Duane is survived by his wife, Muriel Davis; son, Dean Davis; granddaughter, Kyra Davis; brothers, Mark Davis and Keith (Selina) Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Duane’s life will be held in the Spring. Duane’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Duane Davis.
