Charles E. Melton

Mr. Charles "Chuck" E. Melton, age 53, of Biloxi, MS., died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, in Hattiesburg, MS. Mr. Melton was a lifelong resident of the coast and was formerly employed with Frito Lay. He loved to fish and watch the "Saints". Mr. Melton loved Jesus and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all of his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Melton, brother, Mike Moran, sisters, Cindy Tiblier and Debbie Moran, and an aunt, Annaldeen Marshall. Survivors include his wife, Lana Melton of Picayune, MS., mother and stepfather, Rosemary and Alfred Moran of Biloxi, MS., three daughters, Wendie (Luis) Hawkins, also of Biloxi, MS., Denise (Jeff) Webb of McComb, MS., and Crystal (Charlie) Porter of Lafayette, LA., a stepdaughter, Vanisha (Alberto) Aguilar of Poplarville, MS., a stepson, Dave (Brooke) Maxwell of Picayune, MS., brother, David (Sue) Moran of Biloxi, MS., sister, Laura Bode of New York, eleven grandchildren, Paige Webb, Morgan Webb, Madison Webb, Anna Grace Webb, Nicholas Hawkins, Trevor Hawkins, Anniston Bickmann, Dillon Porter, Dakota Bickmann, Avianna Aguilar and Aiden Maxwell, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 15, 2007, from 12:30 PM -2:00 PM, followed by a 2:00 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of BRADFORD O'KEEFE funeral home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
