Charles Edward Loughlin

Charles Edward Loughlin, 73, of Gulfport, MS died on Monday, December 6, 2010 in Lumberton, MS. Mr. Loughlin was born in Jamestown, New York, May 10, 1937. He joined the Navy in 1956 and retired from the US Navy Security Group in 1976. He moved his family to the Gulf Coast after retirement and has been a resident of Gulfport for the last 34 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles D. Loughlin and mother, Alice Osborne Loughlin; sister, Kathleen Beeman. He is survived by his loving wife, Gwendolyn Carr Loughlin; his children, Steven Bradley Loughlin and wife, Doranna; Gregory Edward Loughlin and wife, Janice, Lynda Aliene McCallum and husband, Mike; five grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Robert, Miller and Ben; one great-grandchild, Brandon; sisters, Helen DeFrank, Peggy Welch, Patty Hannon and his brother, Larry Loughlin. Visitation will be on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, West Biloxi. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m graveside service at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
