CHARLES ELLISON

Mr. Charles P. Ellison, 70, of Ocean Springs, MS died Saturday, May 7, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Ellison grew up in Williston, Florida and had been a longtime resident of the coast. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and retired in 1975 with 22 years of service. He was employed with Ingall's Shipbuilding in Pascagoula for 18 years and a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Jane Ellison of Ocean Springs; two daughters, Susan Coker and her husband, Ken, of Woodlands, Texas and Sandra Holly and her husband, Jeff, of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Norma Rae and Barbara Grantham both of Middleburg, FL; four grandchildren, Stephen Charles Griffin of Ocean Springs, Jonathon Wayne Griffin of Biloxi, Jesse Aaron Coker and Phillip James Coker both of Woodlands, TX and a step-granddaughter, Sara Rebbecca Pierce of Grand Isle, LA Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2005, from 4:30 p.m. till 6 p.m. with Memorial Services at 6 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs.
