Charles Gordon Fitzgerald

Charles Gordon Fitzgerald, age 66, of Vancleave, MS passed away Saturday July 1, 2023, at his home in Vancleave.

Charles was born September 5, 1956, in Hattiesburg, MS to his parents Sharrion Lynn Fitzgerald and Freda Annette Moe. He graduated from Vancleave High School in 1975. Charles retired from Ingalls in 2016 after 33 years of service. He was a dedicated member of the Bluff Creek Hunting Club. He was passionate about hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed wood working, painting, and riding his motorcycle.

Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Donna Ann Fitzgerald; children, Shane (Jennifer) Fitzgerald, Heath (Chelsey) Fitzgerald; stepsons, Chad Berry and Chris Rowell; grandchildren, Robbie, Bayleigh, Beau, Natalie, and Bria Fitzgerald; step grandchildren, Trinity, Karsin, and Rileigh Barry; and sister, Sherry (Billy) Young.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 12205 Mount Pleasant Rd. Vancleave, MS 39565. Friends may visit two hours prior. Fellowship will be at the church immediately following the service.
