Charles Jeffrey White

Charles Jeffrey White, age 54, of Gulfport, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Gulfport. He was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC and was a longtime resident of Gulfport. He's favorite saying was "No matter how bad things seem at the time, they always work out for the best." He is survived by his wife of thirty years Karen Vercher White; a daughter, Jennifer Snow White and fiance Michael Knowles; two sisters, Lisa Lassiter and Tammy Marlowe; and his mother, Almeta Brantley. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
