Mr. Charles J. "Charlie" Rondeau, 57, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, February 23, 2008, in Biloxi.
Mr. Rondeau was a native of Long Island, New York and had been a resident of Biloxi for the past 4 years. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was the Director of Operations for the Gulfport Facility of Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding. He had been employed by Northrop Grumman Corporation for 34 years. Mr. Rondeau had many talents and skills which included his love of music, photography, art, engineering, and inventing which led to two patents. He was experienced in all phases of contracting and enjoyed using his skills to help others. He was active with Habitat for Humanity and the Boy Scouts of America training Scout Masters. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Rondeau was preceded in death by his parents,
Ray and Simone Rondeau, and his brother, James Rondeau.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Rondeau of Biloxi; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert (Tarra) Rondeau of Ocean Springs, Patrick (Ashley) Rondeau of DeQuincy, LA, and Christopher (Jennifer) Rondeau of Ocean Springs; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Tom (Beth) Roberts of New Port News, VA, and Jeremy (Jessica) Roberts of Lake Charles, LA, and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesday, February 26, 2008, beginning at 5 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave., in Biloxi.
