Charles Maurice Jordan

Mr. Charles Maurice Jordan, age 82, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Jordan was born in Mobile, AL., and was a long-time resident of the Gulf Coast. He retired from civil service in woodworking, at Brookley Field in Mobile, AL., and retired at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS., with 35 years of service. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the United States Navy and a member of the U.S.S. Gaudalcanal Association. He was also a Baptist, and member of the Howard Lodge 69 in Mobile, AL., and Scottish Rite in Gulfport, MS. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Patsy Glass Jordan, two daughters, Barbara Bridwell and Susan Lennep, all of Ocean Springs, MS., his sister, Kathleen Holland of Mobile, AL., and seven grandchildren, Chris and Brian Comer, Holly, Heather and David Bridwell, and Chip and Colleen Lennep. He will be sadly missed by family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be on Friday, July 6, 2007, from 10-11:30 AM at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. There will be an 11:45 AM Masonic Rites graveside service to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
