Charles Micheal "Chuck" Montgomery

Mr. Charles "Chuck" Micheal Montgomery, 60, of Ocean Springs, MS, was called to heaven to be one of God's angels Saturday, February 5, 2011. Chuck was born November 1, 1950, in Biloxi. He graduated from Biloxi High School, but made his home in the Larue Community. He worked for and eventually retired from Winn Dixie after thirty three years of employment. He then went on to work for the St. Martin School District as a maintenance man. Before passing, he and Mr. A. J. Adamo owned a small lawn care business. Chuck was a wonderful man who lived life to the fullest everyday. He was an avid hunter and loved to spend time at the hunting camp in Noxubee with his hunting buddies. When it wasn't hunting season he enjoyed fishing with his wife and camping with friends and family. Chuck had a great love for life and will live on in all who knew him. Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Anna Mae Montgomery; mother-in-law, Zora Mary Lavinghouse Cismar; and sister-in-law, Lisa Cox Montgomery. Survivors include his beloved wife of thirty five years, Sharon Ann, and his two beautiful daughters, Danielle Sheree' (Christopher) Lloyd and Alexis Michelle. Also, his father, Cecil Montgomery, and siblings, J. C. (Linda) Montgomery, Debra Ann (Mike) Cox, Robert Montgomery, James (Tylah) Montgomery, and Judy (Joey) Gary. He leaves behind numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, a great great nephew, godchildren, in-laws, and friends. Visitation is Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time.
