Charles Joseph "Joe" Peterson

Charles Joseph “Joe” Peterson, age 56, of the Lizana Community in Pass Christian, MS passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport. Joe was born on July 28, 1965 in Gulfport. His hobbies were jeeping, 4- wheeling, softball, baseball and spending time with his babies. He is preceded in death by his father Maven Peterson, a grandson Keagen Peterson; and siblings Richard Peterson and Annette Cuevas. Joe is survived by his mother Willie Mae Peterson; his children, Matthew Alexander (Emily); Kristina Dunn (Andrew); Kent Peterson, and Terrance Peterson; grandchildren Caden Alexander, Kaylee Cobern, Braylee Cobern, Carson Taylor, Koby Ladner, Keeson Peterson, Brayson Cobern, Kole Ladner, Bransyn Peterson, Everlee Necaise, Logan Dunn and Laila Dunn; siblings Liz Peterson, Melissa Ladner (Ricky), Theresa Ladner (Raymond), Wayne Peterson, Pat Peterson (Robin), Jerome Peterson (Nicole) and Jeffrey Peterson. Visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. followed by a service at 1:30 p.m. at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS. Interment will be in Wolf River Cemetery, Gulfport, MS. Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Peterson family.
