Charles R. Davis, Sr.

Mr. Charles Ray Davis, Sr., age 66, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, October 24, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Davis was a resident of the community for 34 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lottie Davis of Silverhill, AL. Survivors include his wife Rita Davis of Ocean Springs, MS., two sons, Charles (Valerie) Davis, Jr., of Charlotte, NC, and James (Missy) Davis of Frankport, IN, stepdaughter, Lynette Meyers of Ocean Springs, MS. and stepson, Brian (Malea) Parker, Sr., of Vancleave, MS., two sisters, Dorothy (Milton) Hughes of Creola, AL. and Patricia (Roger) Farr of Silverhill, AL., two brothers, James A. Davis of Silverhill, AL., and William C. "Tiny" (Louise) Davis of Saraland, AL., seven grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, from 5 PM - 6 PM, with a 6 PM Memorial Service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the Loxley UMC, P.O. Box 56, Loxley, AL., 36551.
