Charles Samuel Adcock

Charles (Sam) Adcock , age 74 , passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, TN . Sam was born to Taylor and Rose (Gray) Adcock on Nov. 25 , 1934 . Sam was a crane and heavy equipment operator for most of his life . Survivors include his children, John S. Adcock of Evansville, IN, Phillip O. Adcock, Evansville, IN, JaneAdcock (Larry) Weyer, and Shelia Ann Adcock (Steve) Plourd of Cocoa, FL.Surviving children are / John S. Adcock (Evansville , IN) (Susan) , Philip O. Adcock (Evansville, IN) , Jane (Adcock) Weyer (Larry) and Sheila Ann (Adcock) Plourd (Steve) (Cocoa , FL). Sam's surviving siblings are Marilyn (Adcock) Pike (Jerry) (Raleigh , NC) , Gene Adcock (Sheila) (Evansville, IN) , LLoyd Adcock (Betty) (Evansville, IN) and Gilbert Adcock ( Jean) (Patoka , IN) . Also surviving are Eight Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the children request that anyone concerned make a donation to their favorite Cancer Organization or become an Organ Donor. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
